E-Waste Recycling Event Spring 2012

E-Waste Recycle Day Spring 2012

On Saturday, April 28 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm The Fifth Corner in conjunction with The Saline Environmental Commission will be collecting unwanted electronics.  This event is free and open to individuals and businesses.  Volunteers will be on hand to help unload your items.  Last November we collected 43,916 pounds of electronic waste. Accepted Items: Monitors,Laptops,TV’s,Printers,Computers,Printers/ Fax/ Scanners,DVD/ Stereos/VCR’S,Video Game Consoles,Peripherals-Mice/Keyboards,PDA/Cell Phones,All computer parts,MP3/IPods/etc,Phones,Etc.Not Accepted Items:Typewriters,Terminals,Toaster Ovens,Hair Dryers,Curling Irons,Cash Registers,UPS Batteries,Copiers,Electronic Tools.

Chili Wars 2012

Saturday, April 21, from 11:30-1:30.

Teachers, community leaders, firemen, and police will each be making their best pot of chili for YOU while raising money for The Fifth Corner (T5C)!
